Priced at approximately $ 11,500 AUD
This beautiful ring made finalist in the hotly contested Emerging Talent section of the Diamond Guild Australia‘s Jewelley Awards 2018. This ring was handcrafted in 18ct gold and was inspired by the Māori Koru. The Koru symbolises new life, growth and peace featuring a central pear shaped diamond set in rose gold with a spiral of brilliant cut diamonds set in white gold. Brock Hodgson, our 8th appentice, entered the competition with the drawing below and once he made finalist he had to make it! We are very proud of his achievement. This dress ring features a 50 point pear shaped diamond F-G VS-SI.
The glamous awards night was organised by Fleur Events. The beautiful Neon models did a wonderful job of displaying the jewellery as there is nothing like seeing the jewellery, as it should be, on a person. The models were dressed by the fabulous Australian fashion desiger, Carla Zampatti. Carla has been a long-time support of Australian jewellery design. The event was held at the beautiful Aerial – Food & Desire in Melbourne. Jessica Rowe was a fabulous compère handling the complex technical descriptions of the jewellery design with ease. My wife, Lisa, sat with her at dinner & really enjoyed her company.
