What should be in a jewellery valuation?

A valuation should be performed by completely independent & highly qualified valuer.  The valuation should be written and include:

• a photograph of the jewellery
• measurements of the diamonds & gemstones
• the gold weight & type
•  the price of gold and the exchange rate on the day of the valuation
•  assessment of the workmanship
