Kora – inspired by Māori culture Dress ring

This beautiful ring made finalist in the hotly contested Emerging Talent section of the Diamond Guild Australia‘s Jewelley Awards 2018.  This ring was handcrafted in 18ct gold and was inspired by the Māori Koru.  The Koru symbolises new life, growth and peace featuring a central pear shaped diamond set in rose gold with a spiral of brilliant cut diamonds set in white gold.  Brock Hodgson, our 8th appentice, entered the competition with the drawing below and once he made finalist he had to make it!  We are very proud of his achievement.
