Mokume Gane Panel Signet Men’s Ring

Mokume Gane means ‘wood grain metal’ and it is a traditional Japanese technique of fusing and working different metals to create a fluid and organic pattern.  The technique was originally used for the decoration of Samurai swords.  By the 1950s it looked like the knowledge of Mokume Gane would disappear due in part to the great difficulty of mastering the art.  We have are very proud to have created our own unique range of Mokume Gane for the Australian market.  Australian made in Australian metals!

This Mokume Gane, panel signet custom made men’s ring featured a square of Mokume Gane with a rose gold band. The Mokume Gane billet we used was a 2 tone with white gold & sterling silver.
