Seville – black & White diamond Pave Dress ring
This designer ring features an domed oval of black pavé set diamonds with three organic arms of white pavé set diamonds. One of the arms & the centre oval are coated in black ruthenium to black the 18ct white gold around them.
The pavé setting featured in this ring, pronounced “pa-vay,” comes from the French word “to pave” as in paved with diamonds. By closely setting the diamonds together with minimal visibility of the tiny metal beads or prongs holding the stones in place, the effect is one of continuous sparkle. The jet black of the cabochon cut onyx was enhanced with diamond set claws suspended above diamond studded, hand wrought, split bands.
